Steve Allen

シェルブルック大学にて物性物理学の博士号および修士号、理論物理学の学士号を取得。

エンソート入社以前は、モントリオール大学でコンピュータビジョンの博士研究員を務めました。またCompute Canadaのサイエンティフィック・アナリストとして、さまざまな分野の研究者がスーパーコンピュータを研究に活用できるよう10年間にわたり支援。この間に、アルゴリズムの最適化、並列化、ベクトル化、高速化に関する豊富な経験を積みました。

休日はハイキングや水泳、小さなプロジェクトづくりを楽しんでいます。

Steve holds a Ph.D. and a M.S. in condensed matter physics as well as a B.S. in theoretical physics from Universite de Sherbrooke.

Prior to joining Enthought, Steve held a postdoctoral position in computer vision at Universite de Montreal. He also worked for 10 years as a scientific analyst for Compute Canada helping researchers of various disciplines use super computers for their research projects. During those years he developed a large amount of experience in optimizing, parallelizing, vectorizing, and accelerating algorithms.

In his free time, Steve enjoys hiking, swimming, and working on small projects.
