Siddhant Wahal

テキサス大学オースティン校にて計算科学の博士号を、インド工科大学カラグプル校にて機械工学の学士号（B.Tech.）を取得。

工学のバックグラウンドと、プログラミングのスキルを生かして解決できる課題に情熱を注いでいます。大学院では、極めて稀な事象の発生確率を効率的に算出するアルゴリズムの開発に取り組みました。また、油層の生産履歴に基づき、岩石物性を統計的に推定・較正する手法についても研究しました。

仕事を離れると読書、ポッドキャスト、ボルダリングを楽しんでいます。

Siddhant holds a Ph.D. in Computational Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

He is passionate about solving problems that let him combine his engineering background with his programming abilities. For his graduate research, Siddhant helped devise algorithms to efficiently compute probabilities of extremely rare events. In addition, he also investigated techniques to statistically calibrate petrophysical properties of oil reservoirs from their production history.

When not working, he enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and bouldering.
