Ryuki Kobayashi

Scientific Software Developer

Ryuki holds a B.S. in Earth and Planetary Science from the University of Tokyo and an M.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. For his graduate research, he focused on a comparative study of different graph algorithms, including betweenness centrality algorithms, for network analysis.

Prior to joining Enthought, he gained diverse experience at companies in both Japan and the U.S. In Japan, he was involved in the development of a highly popular VR game series that achieved significant success as a Unity developer. In the U.S., he worked at Google, where he automated cloud data center processes and developed libraries for Cloud Interconnect. His well-rounded background also includes engineering big data solutions and contributing to front-end development.

Outside of work, Ryuki is passionate about breakdancing and custom-building keyboards. He is also an avid problem solver with a knack for algorithms and data structures. He represented Texas A&M University in the ICPC South Central USA regional round.
