Robert Kern

カリフォルニア工科大学にて地球物理学の学士号を取得し、スクリップス海洋研究所で地球物理学の高度なトレーニングを受講。

20年以上にわたる科学技術分野でのPython開発経験をベースに、幅広い科学的知見、ソフトウェア開発力、課題解決力を提供し、日本の研究開発分野でお客様をサポートし続けています。NumPyやSciPyをはじめ、数多くのオープンソースプロジェクトの主要な貢献者でもあります。

休日はテーブルトップゲームを楽しみ、ロールプレイング仲間のためにジオラマを自作しています。

Robert earned a B.S. in geophysics from the California Institute of Technology and holds advanced training from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in geophysics.

Robert brings a wide range of science, software development, and problem-solving acumen to Enthought from his over twenty years of scientific Python development. He is major contributor to a variety of open source initiatives, including NumPy and SciPy.

In his free time, Robert enjoys tabletop games and crafting terrain for his roleplaying group.
