Matthew Smarte

カリフォルニア工科大学にて化学の博士号を、メリーランド大学にて化学の学士号を取得。化学物理学者としての訓練を受け、生の実験データを速やかに実務で使える成果へと変えることに情熱を注いでいます。

数多くの化学分析手法に関する実務経験を持ち、データ収集から解釈までのワークフローを効率化するソフトウェアツールを開発してきました。大学院では、モデリングと実験の双方を組み合わせ、大気系および燃焼系における短寿命中間体の反応性の解明に取り組みました。

休日は長距離ランニングと、サッカーを楽しんでいます。

Matt holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Maryland. Trained as a chemical physicist, Matt has a passion for rapidly transforming raw experimental data into actionable results.

He has practical experience with many chemical analysis techniques and has developed software tools to streamline their data collection to interpretation workflows. In his graduate research, Matt used complementary modeling and experimental approaches to understand the reactivity of transient intermediates in atmospheric and combustion systems.

In his free time, Matt enjoys long-distance runs and pick-up soccer games.
