Andrew Summers

ヴァンダービルト大学にて化学工学の博士号を、ファーマン大学にて化学の学士号を取得。Pythonを活用して科学の限界を押し広げることに情熱を注いでいます。

エンソート入社以前は、非平衡分子動力学シミュレーションを用いた次世代ナノスケール潤滑剤の研究に従事。分子モデルの構築とパラメータ化を行うソフトウェアフレームワークの開発にも携わり、Pythonによるデータ分析・可視化の豊富な経験を有しています。

休日はゴルフに熱中し、ピッツバーグ・スティーラーズの応援を楽しんでいます。

Andrew holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in chemistry from Furman University.

Andrew brings to Enthought a passion for leveraging Python to push scientific boundaries. Prior to joining Enthought, Andrew performed research on next-generation nanoscale lubricants using non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations. He also helped develop a software framework for the construction and parameterization of molecular models and has extensive experience using Python for data analysis and visualization.

In his free time, Andrew is an avid golfer and enjoys following Pittsburgh Steelers football.
