英国サウサンプトン大学にて複雑系シミュレーションの博士号を、英国サセックス大学にて化学の修士号（M.Chem.）を取得。化学、計算モデリング、データサイエンス、画像解析にまたがる学際的なバックグラウンドを有しています。
エンソート入社以前は、博士研究員としてのフェローシップを得て、英国およびブラジルの物理学者、臨床医、病理医と協働しながら医用画像処理のための計算ツールを開発しました。この経験を通じ、直感的に使えて協働を後押しする、洗練されたソフトウェアづくりへ情熱を注いできました。
休日はサッカーや音楽、ポルトガル語の学習を楽しんでいます。
Frank holds a Ph.D. in complex systems simulation from the University of Southampton, UK and a M.Chem. from the University of Sussex, UK, providing him with a multidisciplinary background in chemistry, computational modelling, data science and image analysis.
Prior to joining Enthought he was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship to develop computational tools for medical image processing, working alongside physicists, clinicians and pathologists based in the UK and Brazil. Consequently, he has developed a passion for creating elegant software that is intuitive to use and powers collaboration.
In his spare time, Frank loves to play football, music, and enjoys learning Portuguese.
